For those who still don't know, there is actually a helper program that will help you to always turn on the health bar in Dota / Warcraft III., so you don't have to press the Alt key all the time.

What you need is a small piece of software.

Download the Pie.Cr3w's Inventory+. Download the A+ version. Extract, and run it before you run Warcraft III.. When the game starts, press the "~" key on your keyboard, and the health bar will always turn on during the game.

The Inventory+ program also provide shortcut to activate the items in your inventory slots. You just need to press the Alt key and the slot key to activate the item in your slot, without clicking it or using the numpad. The slot key is shown below.

So, if you want to activate the item in the 1st slot, just press Alt+Q. A great small program by Pie.Cr3w
