Control Winamp Playback From Within Any Running Applications/Games
Quick tip for Winamp users. Winamp actually have this function that let you to control Winamp playback such as 'Play', 'Pause', 'Stop' or 'Next Song in Playlist' from within any running applications or games. For example, you are surfing the web, and you don't like to minimize your browser and restore Winamp just to change the track. This function is called 'Global Hotkeys'.
To enable the global hotkeys, open Winamp's preferences (CTRL+P), go to 'General Preferences' > 'Global Hotkeys'. Tick 'Enable' (1) to enable it. If you have a keyboard with multmedia control buttons (Play/Pause/Next/Previous/etc), you can enable support for multimedia key (2). You can also customize the hotkey, or add new key. Don't forget to click 'Set' (3) to save the hotkey modification that you made.
